What's New for 2024?

Thanks to a redesign in 2023, the 2024 model year doesn't see many changes. That being said, the entry-level Base trim level has been discontinued, moving the Active trim level to the beginning spot. The 2024 Ford Escape starts at $29,495 MSRP.

Designed to Adapt

Even though the Ford Escape is one of the smallest SUVs in the Ford brand lineup, it still contains plenty of adaptable interior space for you to enjoy. This two-row SUV seats up to five passengers and offers loads of legroom for every rider. You'll also find sliding second-row seats, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, and up to 65.4 cubic feet of total cargo space. Don't forget to add the available Panoramic Vista Roof® to create even more air space, as well as the power liftgate for added convenience.

You Choose Your Power

The Ford Escape comes in several powertrain options, including hybrid and plug-in hybrid varieties. These engines include:

  • 1.5-Liter EcoBoost® Engine with Auto Start-Stop Technology
  • 2.0-Liter EcoBoost® Engine with up to 250-horsepower and 280 pounds-feet of torque
  • 2.5-Liter I-4 Hybrid Engine with up to 192 total horsepower, regenerative braking to recharge, and up to 42/36 city/highway MPG ratings
  • Plug-In Hybrid 2.5-Liter I-4 Engine with up to 210 total horsepower, up to 101 combined MPG rating, and 37 miles of total electric range

No matter which option you choose, you can add the available All-Wheel Drive with AWD Disconnect system as well as pick from one of four selectable drive modes - Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Normal. When properly equipped, the new Ford Escape can even tow up to 3,500 pounds.
